When I was young, my favorite time of day was when I was allowed to draw and paint. As I got older, this love never faded and eventually I went to college to become an artist, obtaining a Bachelor of Fine Arts, concentrating in painting/drawing as well as a Bachelor of Fine Arts Education, concentrating in painting/drawing. It is here that I fell in love with they idea of a pop art gallery. I now live in the Dallas area and partner with galleries to exhibit my work.
I use mediums, such as acrylics, watercolors, watercolor pencils and oil pastels to create a really unique piece of wall art. I believe that working in a single medium is restrictive to my artistic process. Each idea manifests in its own individual style. The customers in the Dallas and Plano area love their pieces.
I have always had a love of artist Andy Warhol's Pop Art and Claude Monet's Impressionism. I could never pick just one when creating; therefore, I decided to marry to two by making my brushstrokes very evident is parts of my work while keeping blocks of color simple and two dimensional.
