Jenn Pointer discovered her passion for digital art after being introduced to an online community of artists who manipulated screen shots of 3D images from the virtual world Second Life. This introduction sparked her experimentation with digital art, photo-manipulation, and collage techniques. Transitioning from figure art to abstracts, she found the courage to digitally paint from scratch using basic shapes and filters available in graphic arts applications.

Many of Jenn's fine art pieces are square, reflecting her love for symmetry and ensuring proper online display. Beyond creating art prints, her latest endeavor involves transforming digital fine art into surface patterns for textiles. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Wassily Kandinsky, Charley Harper, Loui Jover, and Minjae Lee, she continues to push the boundaries of her creativity.

With a background in financial services client service and a formal education in English education, Jenn now seeks to connect with others transitioning from their first career to the arts. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Northeastern State University and a Master of Arts in Education specializing in Adult Education and Distance Learning from the University of Phoenix Online. When she's not creating, Jenn enjoys studying natural medicine, cold-brewing coffee, collecting Coca-Cola items, and browsing garage sales.
