Jenn Pointer's artistic journey began in childhood, dabbling in various arts and crafts until finding her true passion in digital art. Introduced to the world of manipulating screen shots of 3D images from Second Life, she was mesmerized and captivated. Transitioning from figure art to abstracts, she started creating digital paintings using basic shapes and filters. Her fine art pieces are primarily square, showcasing symmetry and displaying well online where she primarily shares and sells her work.
In addition to creating art prints, Jenn's latest challenge is transforming her digital fine art into surface patterns for textiles. Drawing inspiration from artists like Wassily Kandinsky and Charley Harper, she continues to push the boundaries of her creativity. With a background in financial services client service and formal education in English, Jenn is now focused on networking with others transitioning from their first career to one in the arts.
Jenn earned her Bachelor of Arts in English from Northeastern State University and a Master of Arts in Education specializing in Adult Education and Distance Learning from the University of Phoenix Online. When she's not creating art, she enjoys studying natural medicine, brewing coffee, collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia, and exploring garage sales.
