Jenn Pointer
Broken Arrow, OK

Jenn Pointer's artistic journey began with a love for arts and crafts during her childhood and young adult years. It wasn't until a friend introduced her to an online community of artists manipulating screen shots of 3D images from Second Life that she found her true passion. Experimenting with digital art, photo-manipulation, and collage techniques, Jenn eventually transitioned to creating abstract works by manipulating her own photos. With courage, she delved into digitally painting from scratch using basic shapes and filters available in graphic arts applications.

Many of Jenn's fine art pieces are square, reflecting her love for symmetry and ensuring proper display online where her work is primarily showcased and sold. Recently, she has taken on the challenge of transforming her digital fine art into surface patterns for textiles, aiming to increase their value. Drawing inspiration from artists like Wassily Kandinsky, Charley Harper, Loui Jover, and Minjae Lee, Jenn continues to evolve her artistic style and technique.

Despite a former career in financial services client service and a formal education in English education, Jenn's current focus is on networking with others transitioning from their first careers to the arts. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from Northeastern State University and a Master of Arts in Education specializing in Adult Education and Distance Learning from the University of Phoenix Online. When not creating art, Jenn enjoys studying natural medicine, cold-brewing coffee, collecting Coca-Cola memorabilia, and scouring garage sales for hidden treasures.

For those looking to enhance their home or office decor with unique and vibrant prints, consider purchasing Jenn Pointer's artwork. With a diverse range of digital fine art pieces and surface patterns available, her creations are sure to add a touch of creativity and inspiration to any space.
