I started drawing early in life and sold my first piece of art in Kindergarten at the age of five, I was hooked, I continued to draw and paint over the years and decided, at one point, to further my knowledge of art through College. I finished my Degree while caring for my 2 and 3 year old daughters. It was tough at times, but very rewarding. I spent a lot of time painting with my girls and we loved that time together. Unfortunately, our oldest daughter ,Daisy, became ill at age 13 and was battling an incurable Kidney Disease. We spent the following three years trying to preserve what Kidney function she had left. At 16 her Kidneys failed. At that point My focus was no longer on my art. We spent the next 2 years battling to keep her alive. At 18, Daisy Received a Kidney and a second chance at life.

Looking back on my artwork, the one piece in my collection I will always cherish the most. A simple pencil drawing titled Daisy. I feel this Piece reflects the true beauty of my young daughter who fought the battle of her life and, through the grace of God, won.

I have since been trying to find my way back into the creative world, through Photography and Photoshop . As well as slowing moving back into the art world I love so much.
