Irma Mason

The artist began their creative journey at a young age, selling their first piece of artwork in Kindergarten at just five years old. This early success fueled their passion for drawing and painting, leading them to pursue a degree in art while raising their young daughters. Despite the challenges of balancing motherhood and academics, the artist found the experience to be incredibly rewarding, especially when they could share their love for art with their children. Unfortunately, their family faced a difficult trial when their oldest daughter, Daisy, was diagnosed with a serious kidney disease at just 13 years old.

For the next three years, the artist's focus shifted from their art to caring for Daisy and trying to preserve her kidney function. Despite their best efforts, Daisy's kidneys eventually failed when she was 16 years old. The following two years were spent in a battle to keep her alive until, at 18, Daisy received a kidney transplant and a second chance at life. Reflecting on their journey, the artist holds a special place in their heart for a pencil drawing titled Daisy, which captures the true beauty and strength of their daughter.

Since then, the artist has been slowly rekindling their passion for creativity through photography and Photoshop. As they navigate their way back into the art world they love, they invite others to join them on this journey by purchasing prints of their work for home and office decor. Each piece tells a story of resilience, love, and the beauty found in the midst of life's challenges.
