Irma Mason

The artist began honing their craft at a young age, selling their first piece of artwork in Kindergarten at just five years old. This early success ignited a passion for drawing and painting that would follow them throughout their life. Despite the challenges of raising two young daughters, they pursued a degree in art, balancing their studies with motherhood. Painting became a cherished activity to share with their girls, creating precious memories together.

Tragedy struck when their oldest daughter, Daisy, fell ill with an incurable Kidney Disease at the young age of 13. The following years were spent fighting to preserve Daisy's failing kidney function, putting their artistic pursuits on hold. At 16, Daisy's kidneys failed, shifting the artist's focus to the battle for their daughter's life. After two years of struggle, Daisy received a life-saving kidney transplant at 18, providing her with a second chance at life.

Reflecting on their journey, the artist holds a special place in their heart for a pencil drawing titled "Daisy," capturing the true beauty and resilience of their daughter who triumphed over adversity. Now, the artist is slowly rekindling their passion for creativity through photography and Photoshop, gradually returning to the art world they love. Their prints are available for purchase, perfect for adding a touch of inspiration and beauty to any home or office space.
