Growing up, the artist was heavily influenced by their father, who was self-taught and excelled in composition and perspective. Along with their sibling, they engaged in competitive painting throughout their childhood, using script paper brought home by their father to fuel their creativity. While their brother pursued a successful career as a graphic artist, the artist found themselves drawn to engineering. Despite this, they continued to sketch and paint as a hobby, particularly enjoying working with oil paints.
After some time away, the artist returned to oil painting and found immense joy in fully immersing themselves in the process. The challenge of capturing landscapes, figures, and various subjects proved to be both exciting and educational, allowing for a deeper understanding of the artistic process with each new piece. They embrace a loose approach to brushwork, focusing on shapes and colors rather than intricate details, which adds a unique energy and vibrancy to their work.
In addition to oil painting, the artist also finds fulfillment in pencil sketching, both in monochrome and color. This allows for a more precise definition and a change of pace from their oil work. Overall, they find the creative process to be incredibly fun and hope that others will enjoy their work as much as they enjoy creating it. For those interested in adding a touch of artistry to their home or office decor, prints of their pieces are available for purchase.
