Pat Perrin

Throughout her life, the artist has been determined to make her living creatively. After teaching art in Virginia public schools, exhibiting her work, and spending several years on an art-farm, the artist went back to school to get an art degree. That led her to Los Angeles, where she found a job at an interesting newsletter, and it was there that she met her husband, also a full-time creative.

The artist and her husband then moved to San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, where they ran a scholarship program for at-risk students with the local chapter of PEN International. During their time in Mexico, they also adopted their daughter. Now, the artist and her family are living in North Carolina.

Recently, the artist had a solo show in the local ArtsCenter, where she displayed fibers, watercolors, charcoal, and digital art. Her work has been featured in galleries and juried shows in both Mexico and the United States, and those images are now available as prints. Through her art, the artist has discovered that a forest is as much intervals as trees, nature is as much life force as forms, and in empty spaces a subtle energy comes into being.

Bring the beauty of the artist's work into your home or office by purchasing her prints. With her range of styles, you can find the perfect piece to add a unique touch to any space.
