Pat Perrin

Plays on Ideas
CARRBORO, NC

She has always been determined to make a living creatively, and after years of teaching art in Virginia public schools and running a scholarship program in Mexico, she has certainly had an adventurous career. With lots of exhibits under her belt and a diverse range of artistic mediums such as fibers, watercolors, charcoal, and digital art, her work has been shown in galleries and juried shows in Mexico and the U.S.

While living in San Miguel de Allende, she and her husband ran a scholarship program for at-risk students and adopted their daughter. Now residing in North Carolina, she recently had a successful solo show at the local ArtsCenter showcasing her talent across various mediums. Her art reflects her belief that a forest is as much about intervals as trees, and that nature is about life force as much as forms.

For those looking to add a touch of creativity to their home or office decor, her prints are available for purchase. With a keen eye for capturing the subtle energy in empty spaces and the beauty of nature, her work is sure to bring inspiration and tranquility to any space.
