For three years, they fought to preserve Daisy's failing kidney function, until ultimately she received a life-saving kidney transplant at the age of 18. Reflecting on this difficult period, the artist holds a special place in their heart for a pencil drawing titled Daisy, capturing the true beauty of their daughter's courageous battle and triumphant victory.
