Irma Mason

From a young age, the artist displayed a natural talent for drawing and sold their first piece of art at the tender age of five. This early success fueled their passion for creating, leading them to continue drawing and painting throughout the years. Eventually, they decided to pursue a formal education in art, balancing their studies with the responsibilities of caring for their two young daughters. Despite the challenges, they found the experience to be incredibly rewarding, particularly when they were able to share their love of painting with their children.

Tragically, their eldest daughter, Daisy, fell ill with an incurable Kidney Disease at the age of 13, shifting the focus away from art and towards fighting for Daisy's life. For the next three years, the family worked tirelessly to preserve Daisy's kidney function, until at the age of 16, her kidneys failed completely. The following two years were spent battling to keep Daisy alive until, at 18, she received a life-saving kidney transplant. This experience profoundly impacted the artist, leading them to create a pencil drawing titled "Daisy" as a tribute to their daughter's strength and resilience.

In the aftermath of Daisy's health crisis, the artist has been slowly finding their way back into the creative world through photography and Photoshop. They are eager to reconnect with their love of art and continue to express themselves through their work. Their prints, capturing moments of beauty and inspiration, are now available for purchase, perfect for adding a touch of creativity to any home or office decor. By supporting the artist's journey, you can bring a piece of their unique perspective into your own space.
