Randall Jason Irvin
Montgomery , AL

A musician, composer, skilled craftsman, committed partner, and father, Jason hails from Atlanta, Georgia, where he began his artistic journey at the Atlanta College of Art. After college, he made his way to the vibrant town of Athens, GA, where he co-founded musical groups and immersed himself in the local art scene. Balancing his passion for art with his job at a popular vegetarian restaurant, Jason worked his way up to become one of the top chefs, showcasing his talent for developing original vegetarian recipes.

It was during his time in the kitchen that Jason realized art is not confined to canvases but extends to all facets of human existence. In 2006, he delved into painting, completing successful series such as "1951 Office Wall Hangings" and "Deeper into Color." Upon returning to Atlanta in 2010, Jason set up his studio in the Castleberry Hill art district, where he honed his craft while working as a licensed plumber, showcasing a construction-like quality in his work.

In 2016, Jason, along with his partner Nell and son Hawthorne, made the move to Midcoast Maine, where he continues to be an active member of the local art community. In Maine, he has taught art in Rockland and opened his studio to the public during the Belfast Art Walk in the summer of 2017. His recent works, including the "Abstracts in Maine" series and "Element" series, reflect his creativity and attention to detail. Jason invites art enthusiasts to bring his unique prints into their homes and offices for a touch of artistic flair.
