Born in Zimbabwe, Gregg developed a deep appreciation for the African wilderness from a young age. For the past three decades, he has explored, worked in, and captured some of the most breathtaking landscapes, allowing his creativity to flourish through his adventurous spirit. He considers these stunning areas his backyard, a privilege he cherishes.
Gregg's passion for photography, visual arts, and printmaking has been ingrained in him long before he ever picked up a camera. As a successful entrepreneur and commercial photographer, he has published two books – Mana Pools in 2013 and Elephants & Albidas five years later. Always working towards his next book or exhibition, Gregg is dedicated to sharing the beauty of the wilderness through his photos.
Immersing himself in his darkroom and studio, Gregg finds solace in traditional photography processes, developing images through contact printing onto high-quality cotton papers. This timeless art form allows him to slow down, appreciate the chemistry and feel of the paper, and transport himself from today's chaotic world. Each print he creates is a labor of love, meant to bring joy and soul into the homes of those who appreciate the beauty of nature.
Now residing in Mauritius with his family, Gregg continues to travel across Africa for photographic assignments, showcasing the vibrant and colorful landscapes that captivate his gregarious nature. As an enthusiastic conservationist, he believes in the importance of understanding and preserving the natural world. By purchasing Gregg's prints for home and office decor, you not only bring a piece of the wilderness into your space but also contribute to conservation efforts for future generations.
