Gregg Robinson

GreggRobinsonAfrica

Gregg's deep connection to the African wilderness began in Zimbabwe, where he spent his formative years surrounded by the stunning landscapes that would later inspire his photography. Over the course of three decades, he has explored, worked in, and captured some of the most breathtaking areas, allowing his adventurous spirit to guide his creative vision. He considers the African wilderness to be his backyard, a blessing that has fueled his passion for photography and printmaking.

Even before he picked up a camera, Gregg's love for visual arts and printmaking was evident. As a successful entrepreneur and commercial photographer, he has published two books, "Mana Pools" in 2013 and "Elephants & Albidas" five years later. His studio is his sanctuary, where he indulges in age-old photography processes, creating timeless images on the finest cotton papers. Gregg finds solace in the chemistry, feel of the paper, and solitude of this art form, allowing him to escape the chaos of modern life and immerse himself in the simple joy of bringing a print to life.

Through his photography, Gregg aims to transport viewers to the heart of the African wilderness, capturing the essence of each landscape and wildlife encounter. He collaborates closely with gallerists and interior designers to produce prints that evoke a sense of timelessness and tranquility. Whether adorning the walls of a home or office, Gregg's prints offer a glimpse into the soul of the African wilderness, inviting viewers to experience its beauty firsthand.

Living in Mauritius with his family, Gregg continues to travel throughout Africa on photographic assignments, showcasing the vibrant colors and friendly atmosphere of the paradise island. As an enthusiastic conservationist, he believes in the importance of preserving the natural world for future generations. By supporting conservation initiatives and using his photography to raise awareness, Gregg aims to make a positive impact on the planet. For those looking to bring a touch of the African wilderness into their homes or offices, Gregg's prints offer a unique opportunity to connect with nature and support a passionate conservationist.
