Gabriele Niegelhell, a native of Graz, Austria, discovered her passion for painting, drawing, photography, and pottery at a young age. Although her artistic talents were evident early on, she initially pursued a career in languages due to societal expectations. It wasn't until she settled in New Mexico, USA, that she was able to dedicate herself fully to painting after her children began school. Niegelhell honed her skills through various art classes and workshops, learning from established painters like Polly Jackson and Julia Lambright, while also continuing to teach herself.
Her dedication to her craft paid off when she had the opportunity to exhibit her work at the Matrix Fine Art Gallery in Albuquerque alongside painter Eliza Schmid.
