Gabriele Niegelhell, originally from Graz, Austria, discovered her passion for painting, drawing, photography, and pottery at a young age. Despite early recognition for her artistic talents, she pursued a career in languages due to the belief that she couldn't support herself as an artist. It wasn't until she settled in New Mexico, USA, that she was able to fully dedicate herself to painting after her children started school. Under the guidance of various painters, she honed her skills and continues to push herself artistically.
Her dedication to her craft has been recognized through various exhibitions, including a collaborative show at the Matrix Fine Art Gallery in Albuquerque and acceptance into the Juried Plein Air Painters of NM 15th National Exhibition and Show. Most recently, her Still Life paintings were displayed at the New Mexico Art League Gallery, showcasing her versatility as an artist.
