Doreen Lepore is an artist who paints Florida landscapes with a vibrant colorist palette and a relaxed, painterly style. Her oil and pastel works capture the spirit of the place and light, evoking a poetic sense of nature's beauty. Doreen is a juried member of both the Pastel Society of America and Oil Painters of America, and an active member of Plein Air Florida.

In 2008, Doreen launched The Hobe Sound Project, which involved printing and distributing postcards with the request that people share their favorite places or views in Hobe Sound to be painted on location by her. This event culminated with a solo exhibit at Molly's House Gallery in Stuart, FL in 2009. Doreen also taught painting and ran a small custom framing business from home.

Doreen's works have appeared in many juried exhibits, local and national publications, and are included in numerous private collections. She has been featured in Fine Art Connoisseur magazine and Maya Ellenson's Art Kaleidoscope article "Painting as the chasing of atmosphere and light". As a member of Paint the Parks, Doreen has committed to painting the parks on location and donating a portion of her park painting proceeds to environmental causes.
