Creating art is something I have loved from a very early age. I am a third generation artist, born and raised in Southern West Virginia where folk art and crafts were part of my heritage. My family were instrumental in encouraging me to always create and see art in the ordinary. Over the years I have developed a proficiency in watercolor, wheel thrown ceramics, and artisan jewelry. I have been blessed throughout my life to study under many professional artists and talented art teachers. In college, I obtained a Business Degree in Marketing: Minor in Studio Art with a focus in Ceramics from Marshall University.



Although I have always found happiness in putting paint to paper, I discovered a love for watercolor in recent years, while painting with a talented community of fellow artists. By sharing my paintings, I hope to bring a bit of beauty into the world, while also inspiring others to exercise their own creativity and not be intimidated out of trying something new.



My home is in Stephenville TX, where I live with my wonderfully supportive husband and two young boys. I enjoy extending my knowledge to others by teaching classes of all ages in the Stephenville community.
