Growing up in Southern West Virginia, this artist was surrounded by a rich heritage of folk art and crafts, instilling a lifelong passion for creativity. As a third generation artist, they were encouraged by their family to see art in the ordinary and to always keep creating. Throughout their life, they honed their skills in watercolor, ceramics, and artisan jewelry, studying under professional artists and talented teachers. With a Business Degree in Marketing and a Minor in Studio Art from Marshall University, they have a strong foundation in both business and art.
In recent years, this artist discovered a deep love for watercolor while painting with a community of fellow artists. Residing in Newbury Ohio with their supportive husband and two young boys, they find solace in reading, writing, walking outside, and of course, creating.
