Laurie's background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Studio Arts, where she specialized in painting and interior design. Her passion for art was inspired by the works of Andrew Wyeth, Georgia O'Keeffe, Claude Monet, and Redoute and Durer. She also worked as the head designer and owner of an NJ flower shop for over a decade, and as a chair interior designer for Sotheby's in NYC.
