Art for Wilderness
Traditional Artist

Barry Robert Kilmer

Inspired by the intrinsic beauty of wilderness. Living in Bend, Oregon for the past twenty two years where the foothills of the Cascades meet the high desert lava plateaus. Was on Maui’s west side for fourteen years prior to moving to Bend. Fascinated by Earth’s dynamic geologic systems. Traveling the Pacific Rim Ring of Fire tracking historically active volcanoes in search of wilderness inspiration. Willing to backpack way in there for days to see something geologically cool! Sequoia-Kings Canyon Wilderness in the Sierra Nevada remains his favorite place for inspiration.

10% of Art for Wilderness proceeds from Geo Galleries sales are used to support Leave No Trace outdoor ethics awareness and education.
