Barry Robert Kilmer

Barry Kilmer has called Bend, Oregon home for the past twenty four years, where the stunning landscapes of the Cascades foothills meet the high desert lava plateaus. Prior to settling in Bend, he spent fifteen years on Maui's west side, surrounded by the beauty of the Hawaiian islands. Kilmer is deeply fascinated by Earth's dynamic geologic systems and the intrinsic beauty of wilderness, often venturing deep into pristine areas to explore something geologically intriguing. His favorite place for inspiration remains above the tree line in the Sequoia-Kings Canyon Wilderness in the Sierra Nevada.

10% of the proceeds from sales at Geo Galleries go towards supporting Leave No Trace outdoor ethics awareness and education, reflecting Kilmer's commitment to preserving the beauty of the wilderness he loves. Using watercolor pigments on Canson Montval art board with his proprietary Colorweave technique, Kilmer creates stunning custom wilderness originals from adventure photos. Limited edition signed prints are also available for purchase, showcasing his unique style and love of nature. For more information and availability, interested individuals can contact him via email at kilmerbarry@gmail.com.
