Danny is a prolific artist who has traveled the world, both as a military serviceman and as an artist. His art journey began a few days before he was deployed to Somalia, where he created a picture of a snail on a blade of grass, surrounded by other grasses and an old can of baked beans. He was compelled to paint the picture, although he could not explain why.

After his deployment, Danny returned to France and bought his first set of watercolors in Marsallies. Each time he moved, he sought out instructors to learn different mediums of art. Today, Danny works in acrylics, watercolors, and oils, and he never leaves home without his art supplies.

Inspired by the beauty of the Pacific Northwest, Danny now lives here with his wife and enjoys traveling to far flung places. His preferred subject matters include landscapes, still life, portraiture and spiritual subjects.
