Born in 1959 in Bikaner, Rajasthan, India, Mahaveer Swami's artistic journey began with training at home before earning a Diploma in Painting & Sculpture at the Rajasthan School of Art in Jaipur. Under the guidance of his mentor, late Shri Vedpal Sharma - Bannu, he honed his skills in the traditional style of painting. Since 1986, Mahaveer has showcased his work in over 60 galleries across India, as well as internationally in cities like Paris, Brussels, Washington DC, and Shanghai.
With a passion for sharing his knowledge, Mahaveer has conducted workshops and training programs in various locations in India and abroad, including Paris, Cairo, Dubai, and Washington, DC. His dedication to teaching has left a lasting impact on aspiring artists around the world. Over the years, he has received around 10 major awards for his outstanding artwork, both in India and Algeria.
