Paul Narwid is an avid landscape, wildlife, travel photographer and photography workshop leader based in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Southwestern Virginia. His passion for photography began in the early 1980's when he received his first film camera, a Pentax K1000. He has since evolved to shooting digital, but still has a strong appreciation for film photography and has acquired a number of vintage cameras.
Paul has had experience in portrait, sports, and wedding photography, but his true calling lies in exploring the outdoors and new places with a camera in hand. He has recently found a renewed interest in black and white film photography and has some projects underway.
Paul's work has been recognized with accolades such as Second Place in the 2012 Bedford Bulletin Photography Contest and his photography has been featured on the cover of the March 2012 “This is Bedford Virginia”Supplement to the Bedford Bulletin, Bedford, VA, and the July 2022 cover image of the “Friends of the Graveyard” monthly newsletter for the Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum, Cape Hatteras, NC.
Paul's photography captures breathtaking landscapes, wildlife, and travel experiences in a way that can be enjoyed in any home or office. To experience the beauty of Paul's photography, consider purchasing one of his prints today.
