Two Tiling Options

Edge-to-Edge

By default, we use this method. Mural or wallpaper panels are printed so the design goes all the way to the edge, with no margin. During installation, the panels are placed side by side, and their edges butt directly against each other. When aligned perflectly this can create a more seamless look. and gives the cleanest look when walls are perfectly straight. Requires very precise installation — any shrinking, stretching, or imperfect wall can cause tiny gaps. If the wall isn’t straight, misalignment may show more easily.

Overlapping Edges

Each panel is printed slightly wider than the intended width, with a margin for overlap (usually ½ inch to 1 inch). When installed, one panel slightly overlaps the next. Sometimes installers will make a double-cut seam by overlapping, then cutting through both layers to create a perfect seam. This can create a visible ridge at the overlap if not trimmed but is more forgiving when there are wall irregularities. It is also better suited if the in situations where there can be extreme temperature changes which can cause the underlying wall to expad or contract.
