An artist with a deep passion for painting pets and nature, Gail Dolphin resides in the picturesque Vero Beach, Florida. With a surname that perfectly aligns with her artistic endeavors, Dolphin hails from the suburbs of Philadelphia and holds a degree in Graphic Design and Illustration from Kutztown University, earned in 1980. Despite her academic background, she soon realized that the corporate advertising world was not where she belonged.
Instead, Dolphin began showcasing her work at local dog, horse, and wildlife shows, slowly building her art business from the ground up. To support her artistic pursuits, she took on various creative roles over the years, including being a Docent at the Philadelphia Zoo, a Custom Picture Framer, and a Retail Store Display Merchandiser. These diverse experiences, including running a horse boarding farm with her husband in Pennsylvania, all played a role in shaping her into the artist she is today.
