Chris Vedis is a Fine Artist and Military Veteran whose passion for creating stunning handcrafted and painted works of art shines through in his Abstract, Airbrush, and traditional pieces. From a young age, Chris displayed a natural talent for creativity and artistry. After graduating from high school in Ohio, he pursued his artistic dreams by attending the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, where he earned an Associates Degree in Visual Communications.
After college, Chris gained valuable experience working at a design firm in Pittsburgh, where he honed his skills in printing and design. Starting from the darkroom, he worked his way up to assisting in the design process and eventually ventured into website design, eventually starting his own business. However, after moving to Nevada in 1998 to grow his business, Chris faced challenges and ultimately put his art on hold to serve in the Nevada Army National Guard in 2001, completing two overseas tours.
Despite a 15-year hiatus from his art, Chris rediscovered his passion and creativity, diving into airbrushing and creating original abstract pieces that transport him back to his childhood. His artwork serves as an escape from the stresses of everyday life, allowing him to express his creativity and unique perspective.
