Chris Vedis is a Fine Artist and Military Veteran with a passion for creating stunning handcrafted and painted works of art using Abstract, Airbrush, and traditional methods. Ever since he was young enough to hold a pencil, Chris has been a creative and artistic individual. He graduated from high school in Ohio before pursuing his education at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania, where he earned an Associates Degree in Visual Communications.
After college, Chris gained experience at a design firm in Pittsburgh, where he honed his skills in the printing and design industry. Starting in the darkroom developing rub-on transfers, he worked his way up to assisting in the design process and even delving into website design. However, in 1998, Chris moved to Nevada with hopes of expanding his business in web design and Illustration. When things didn't go as planned, he joined the Nevada Army National Guard in 2001, putting his art on hold to serve his country for the next 12 years, including two overseas tours.
After nearly 15 years away from his art, Chris rediscovered his passion and began creating original abstract pieces of art through airbrushing. Immersing himself in his artwork brought him back to his childhood and provided an escape from the stresses of everyday life. Now, Chris's captivating artwork is available for purchase as prints, perfect for adding a touch of creativity and inspiration to any home or office decor.
