A Fine Artist and Military Veteran, Chris Vedis is known for his stunning handcrafted and painted works of art, created using Abstract, Airbrush, and traditional methods. From a young age, Chris displayed a natural talent for creativity and artistry. After graduating from high school in Ohio, he pursued his passion at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, where he earned an Associates Degree in Visual Communications.
Following his education, Chris gained valuable experience at a design firm in Pittsburgh, honing his skills in the printing and design industry. Starting in the darkroom, he worked his way up to assisting in the design process and eventually delving into website design. Despite his initial dreams of growing his own business in web design and illustration, Chris faced challenges upon moving to Nevada in 1998. This led him to temporarily set aside his art career and join the Nevada Army National Guard in 2001, serving his country for the next 12 years with tours in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom.
After nearly 15 years away from his art, Chris rediscovered his passion and creativity. Returning to his roots, he began airbrushing and crafting original abstract pieces that reflected his childhood inspirations. Through his artwork, Chris finds solace and escape from the everyday stresses of life.
