With a background in Fashion Illustration and professional experience in the field, they received their early education at the High School of Art and Design in NYC and continued their studies at Traphagen School of Art in Gramercy Park. Growing up in Brooklyn, NY, they met their husband, who lived across the street. After moving to Suffolk Long Island and starting a family with two sons, the artist pursued a degree in Special Education, utilizing their creative thinking and out-of-the-box approach to help children with mild learning disabilities.
Upon retirement, their dream of painting and building a studio came true in 2007, where they draw inspiration from the human form and color. Their art often reflects spiritual themes or memories from years of travel. The artist aims to evoke emotions in viewers, with many buyers forming special attachments to their pieces, recalling moments from their past.
