The artist works in multimedia, utilizing a variety of techniques and materials to create their pieces. With a background in Fashion Illustration and formal education from the High School of Art and Design in NYC, followed by Traphagen School of Art in Gramacy Park, the artist has a strong foundation in the arts. Originally from Brooklyn, NY, they met their husband there before moving to Suffolk Long Island to start a family, eventually becoming a mother to two sons.
After their sons began school, the artist pursued a degree in Special Education, utilizing their creative thinking to help children with mild learning disabilities. Retirement brought the opportunity to focus on painting and building a studio in 2007. Inspired by the human form and color, their art often incorporates spiritual themes and reflections from years of travel. The goal is to evoke emotions in the viewer and create a connection to the piece, often reminding them of significant moments in their lives.
Each piece of art has a special attachment for those who purchase them, bringing joy and pleasure through the artist's creations. For those looking to add a touch of creativity and inspiration to their home or office decor, purchasing prints of the artist's work is a wonderful way to support their craft and bring a unique aesthetic to any space.
