Born and raised in Utah, Alex G Platt discovered his passion for drawing at a young age. His artistic talents were recognized early on when he received the Art Sterling Scholar Award in High School. Pursuing his passion, Alex studied Graphic Design and Illustration at Salt Lake Community College, where he found particular joy in painting portraits. His work can now be seen in a wide variety of commissioned, community, and personal projects, showcasing his talent and versatility.
Throughout his artistic journey, Alex has drawn inspiration from renowned painters such as James Gurney, Marc Dalessio, John Berkey, and Michael Malm. Under the guidance of mentors like Rob Adamson, Tom Howard, and Lester Lee, Alex honed his skills and developed his unique style. With a focus on digital painting and design for commissioned work, Alex's artistry continues to evolve, blending accuracy with expressiveness in each piece he creates.
