Based out of Marquette, Michigan, the heart of the Upper Peninsula, Jason has been capturing the beauty of nature in photos since 2020. As a Social Worker, Jason has a unique connection with Lake Superior and the desire to share its splendor with others. His favorite photography subjects are the powerful Lake Superior Waves at the Black Rocks and the decommissioned Ore Dock in the Lower Harbor, but his eye is constantly drawn to all the beauty around him.
In addition to photography, Jason expresses himself artistically through music and poetry, mostly in the form of haikus. He has also made appearances on the stage in Marquette, most recently portraying Santa Claus in the Northern Michigan University production of ‘Elf: The Musical’. Jason is eternally grateful for the love and support of his beautiful wife and two teenage children.
