Jay Morgan has been artistic all his life. From an early age his family encouraged him to always have paper and pencil at hand to create his art. "I remember as a child drawing the comics in the Sunday morning paper or doing a quick sketch of my half eaten lunch. I would hang out in the car while my parents shopped so I could draw what I could see out the window".



Today, he uses a variety of media like graphite, pastels, inks and acrylics to capture a unique essence of any particular scene, be it a majestic landscape, afternoon light reflecting from the bridges and buildings of urban skylines, or the pristine waters of the Florida beaches near his home.



His studio is located in sunny Tampa Bay Florida.
