Houston based photographer, Travis Burgess works include the Apollo 11 launch on June 16, 1969. As a photographer his skill set includes the labor intensive dark room film and print developing, a time when many one-shot-at-it processing was a very well practiced technique compared to the 3 second filters of photo editing software. Photographers that have this background always bring a touch of those techniques to the new digital age as they perfect there shots to the images they remember washing from the developer.
With an eye for candid journalistic images to this artistic approach to the female form, Burgess makes his photography available in a variety of print media that bring out the darks of his images. The color contrast on his artistic pieces balance the softness of his subjects to offer a dramatic wall piece.
