Having been involved in art from a young age, the artist has always had a keen focus on drawing and photography. These skills are utilized when planning, shooting, and enhancing images, showcasing a unique and creative perspective. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a background in television production, the artist later earned a Master of Science in Education, further enriching their knowledge and experience in the field.
Photography has been a lifelong passion for the artist, starting back in Jr. High School when they took their first photography class and learned to develop film. This early experience left a lasting impression, leading to a continuous exploration of different camera types and techniques. Despite not pursuing a career in photography at that time, the artist always had a camera in hand, capturing moments and scenes with various tools.
At 52 years old, the artist has made the bold decision to become a full-time artist, following their true passion for photography and art. While currently teaching 6th grade English during the day, the artist considers this their "secret identity," with art being the true source of joy and fulfillment. Reflecting on their journey back to their artistic roots, the artist is excited to share more of their path and creations with others.
