Since a young age, the artist has been immersed in the world of art, with drawing and photography being their primary focus. These skills have been instrumental in planning, shooting, and enhancing images throughout their career. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts and years of experience in television production, they later pursued a Master of Science in Education. Despite their extensive background in various fields, their love for photography was sparked back in Jr. High School when they took their first photography class and learned how to develop their own film. From that point on, they were hooked on capturing life through a lens.
Although not a young artist, they made the bold decision to become a full-time artist at the age of 52, proving that it's never too late to pursue one's passion. Currently, while teaching 6th grade English during the day, they consider it their "secret identity" as their true passion lies in art. The artist's unwavering love for art has been a constant throughout their life, dating back to their high school years and their college days as an art major in 1989.
