Suzie Quinn

Their work encompasses a wide array of subjects, with common design elements including vibrant colors, strong contrasts, and a harmonious balance in the composition. Many of their paintings are narrative-driven, aiming to evoke memories or emotions that capture a specific sense of place or feeling. The majority of their original pieces are created using traditional mediums such as oil on canvas and pastel on paper.

Having pursued art during their early college years, they further honed their craft by studying studio art at various institutions in their hometown of Rochester, NY, including Monroe Community College and Rochester Institute of Technology. As a Vermont resident, they continued their artistic education by taking numerous fine arts courses at the University of Vermont, where they immersed themselves in the local arts community and participated in studio art classes at various institutions.

Upon relocating to the Finger Lakes region in upstate New York in 2018, they became a member of the Ontario County Art League and began showcasing their work at local galleries such as the Ontario County Historical Society and the Fort Hills Art Center. Since settling in the Finger Lakes, they have continued to expand their artistic skills by taking classes at esteemed institutions like the Rochester Memorial Art Gallery and the Pat Rini Rohrer Gallery in Canandaigua.
