S.C. Persson is a self-taught traditional artist from Arizona who works mostly with colored pencils and acrylic paint. She sold original and commissioned artwork for the past decade, and decided to commit to her art career full-time in 2024. That same year, her piece Southwest Green was featured as an honorable mention in Ten Moir Gallery’s online art exhibition, Green Spectrum.
Growing up, Persson developed a curiosity for the people around her. Much of her artwork tells a story about the human condition with striking colors and distinctive imagery. Persson is also enjoys creating works with storybook imagery.
Born in St. Petersburg, Florida, Persson has lived in Arizona for the past 20 years, and began her artistic journey at the age of 13.
