Based in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Southwestern Virginia, Narwid Photo is an avid landscape, wildlife, and travel photographer, as well as a photography workshop leader. Narwid Photo has been passionate about photography since receiving their first film camera, a Pentax K1000, in the early 1980’s. Though they have since moved on to shooting digital, they still retain their enthusiasm for film photography and have acquired multiple old cameras to bring out in the field.

In addition to portrait, sports, and wedding photography, Narwid Photo has found a renewed interest in black and white film photography and has projects planned for it. They have also been recognized for their work, receiving 2nd place in the 2012 Bedford Bulletin Photography Contest and having their photos serve as the cover image for both the Bedford Bulletin and the Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum’s monthly newsletter.
