Chunbum Park

Chunbum Park is a South Korean artist whose work focuses on figurative fantasies as a trans woman, as well as the concept of racialized beauty in Japanese anime and anti-racist aesthetics. Park was born in Seoul in 1991 and relocated to the United States at the age of nine. She attended Montgomery Bell Academy in Nashville, TN, for her high school education before studying at the Art Students League of New York and School of Visual Arts, where she was awarded a BFA in Fine Arts in 2020. Park is currently in the process of completing an MFA Fine Arts Studio thesis at Rochester Institute of Technology.

Park's oeuvre includes a variety of vibrant paintings, capturing the beauty of Asian goddesses and beauties, as well as the strength of her characters. These works draw in viewers through their use of color, texture, and emotion, making them ideal for home and office decor. If you are looking for a unique and beautiful way to bring art into your space, then consider purchasing one of Chunbum Park's prints.
