Love painting this beautiful amazing world and hope my paintings invoke positiveness and inspired interest in others.
Most of these paintings usually depict an authentically real place and will have a human element imbedded. This is because I believe that no matter how beautiful a landscape is, it is the beauty of the humans in our lives (and in the paintings as a reminder) that make us so happy to share this world with them.
Am now focusing on watercolor medium, love the surprising quirks this medium portrays! Pre watercolor, I loved working with oils, acrylic, pastels.
I have been painting for many years, selling and giving my artwork as gifts. I was recently happy to visit people I hadn't seen in twenty years and saw they still had my artwork on their walls!
During my earlier artist days, I did not keep good records of my paintings and now wish i had documented the details of each one. I highly recommend good record keeping to anyone whether neophyte artist or long-timer. When I started my artwork, there were no camera phones and I did not always have a regular reliable camera so I had no photos of many of my pieces. Occasionally, someone will mention some of my art pieces or my artwork would just come to mind and I would have no idea who has it or where this artwork is now or any other details about a particular artwork. I also had some paintings stolen and they were never recovered because I did not have complete and photographic records of them.
Regarding a fine art print business, I had been searching for some time to find one that printed exceptional prints. Found it with FinerWorks. They use giclee printing which produces a high quality print which has an exceptional color accuracy, detail, and longevity. The fine art paper they use is acid free archival.
So now, lovely people, I wish you as much joy and peace while you peruse my paintings as I had while painting them.
God bless you and keep you in His favor as He has me.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
