Born and raised in New England, the artist spent their childhood exploring the natural beauty of New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont during the summers, while experiencing the urban diversity of the greater New York City area in SW Connecticut throughout the rest of the year. After graduating from high school, they headed west and earned an Art Degree from Willamette University in Salem, Oregon, specializing in acrylic painting, ceramics, and sculpture.
During their young adult years, the artist used painting as a medium to delve into human emotion through characterization and color. However, it has been many years since they last picked up a brush, as they focused their time on supporting their family and raising two sons. Now, they are eager to redevelop their creative energy and are excited to see where it leads in their artistic journey.
