Laura Grow is a self-taught artist, who specializes in watercolor paintings. The journey to artist has taken well over a decade. Starting in high school and college, she took several art classes, including sculpture and mixed medium. Over the years, a sketchbook and watercolor set have followed her along several moves back and forth from the East Coast to West Coast. Her primary profession is as a Food Scientist, and she has worked for several different food companies over the past decade, using her creative side to bring flavors to life in coffee, snacks and supplements.
A more serious consistent practice of watercolor painting began when the world stayed indoors in 2020 and has since developed into a full-blown pursuit. Her early works featured botanicals, still life, and scenes from her home in Southern California. After moving to the Bay Area, she developed a love of painting houses and buildings, creating works of beloved homes or memorable places. She continues to paint works inspired by the surrounding coast, forests and cities that we call home. She believes that creating art echoes the work of the Creator and is a way to glimpse the beauty that we all deeply long to find.
The prints curated here include some of the artists’ favorite paintings. All of them are high-quality giclee reproductions of her original watercolors paintings. One of her favorite things to do with her art is to gift it to others, so she hopes that you collect these works for your home, office, kitchen or to gift to someone you love.
