Lawrence Costales, a retired US Marine Corps veteran, is a talented photographer, actor, and director/producer. His most recent travel photographs capture his time in Kuwait while supporting the US Army at Camp Doha and Camp Arifjan. During his year-long deployment in 2003/4, he also had the opportunity to explore Italy and Dubai, UAE. His earlier works have been featured at various prestigious venues such as the ARCO Towers in Los Angeles, the US Embassy in Bogota, and the Galleria Nina Moreno in Tijuana.
Notably, Lawrence's photography has been displayed at The Temecula Art Gallery (TAG), El Encanto in Monterey Park, and various small shows throughout Southern California. In 2017, he showcased 27 images at The Rosebud Cafe in Pasadena, following 8 abstract images at the Rokoko Gallery in Las Cruces, New Mexico. His exhibition 'Images from Near and Far' at the Corona Public Library in 2006 featured 32 captivating images. Lawrence's travel fine art images were predominantly shot with a Mamiya 645, while his headshots were taken with a NIKON F4 and Canon Digital. Currently, he is using his Sony A7Riv for his photography.
