Hello!! My name is Lisa Abbott and I live in a small town in western Washington State. I am so glad you have taken the time to visit my virtual gallery. My father made his career in the military so our family moved often. I learned at an early age that art could travel with me even if friends could not. I took every art class a public school would allow me to throughout my childhood. My mother took classes in ceramics, macrame, and a few painting classes as well. She would, at times, let me work with or beside her. This also fueled my interest in art and my love to create. Beyond high school, I am self taught, just recently in the last few years having returned to creating after raising a family and working as a bookkeeper/co-owner of a small construction company. I paint in acrylics, dabble in resin arts, love creating artistic photography. I hope my ever evolving work brings you joy.
