Lisa Abbott lives in a small town in western Washington State. With a father in the military, Lisa had a nomadic childhood. At an early age, she realized art was something she could take with her wherever she went. She took advantage of every art class offered in her public school, and borrowed techniques from her mother who took classes in ceramics, macrame, and painting.

Self-taught after high school, Lisa recently returned to creating art after raising a family and working as a bookkeeper and co-owner of a small construction company. Lisa works in acrylics, dabbles in resin arts, and creates artistic photography.
