Julie March Green
Roseburg , OR
Julie March Green, an artist based in the Pacific Northwest, has been drawn to creating since she was a child. Her passion for art started early on, with crayons always in hand. Now, she works predominantly with oils, watercolor, pen and ink, and color pencil to bring her visions to life.
A perpetual student of art, Julie believes that one's art education is never truly complete. She finds inspiration in the detailed realism of classical painters, the imaginative world of romanticism, and the edgy textures of pop art. It is the combination of these influences that she loves to incorporate into her work, especially in children's illustration.
Julie's artwork has made its way into nine different countries around the world. As a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, she continues to learn and grow in her craft. Additionally, she holds a certificate in Natural History Illustration from the University of Newcastle.
In her daily life, Julie finds joy and inspiration in her family - her husband, two teenagers, and a neverending pot of English breakfast tea. Her art reflects the beauty and wonder she sees in the world around her. Consider adding a touch of Julie's creativity to your home or office decor by purchasing her prints.
