Julie March Green
Roseburg , OR
Julie March Green, an artist based in the Pacific Northwest, has had a passion for drawing since before she could even walk. Her little fists would tightly grip crayons, and now she prefers to work with oils, watercolor, pen and ink, and color pencil to bring her creations to life. A lifelong student of art, Julie believes that art education is a never-ending journey. She draws inspiration from the detailed realism of classical painters, the imagination of romanticism, and the edgy textures of pop art, all of which can be seen in her work, particularly in children's illustration.
Julie's pieces have made their way to nine countries worldwide, showcasing her talent and creativity on an international scale. As a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, she continues to expand her skills and knowledge in the field. Holding a certificate for Natural History Illustration from the University of Newcastle, Julie's dedication to her craft is evident in every piece she creates.
In addition to her artistic endeavors, Julie finds daily blessings in her husband, two teenagers, and a neverending pot of English breakfast tea. Her work reflects her passion and dedication to her craft, capturing the beauty of the world around her in unique and captivating ways. To bring a piece of Julie's art into your home or office, consider purchasing prints to add a touch of creativity and inspiration to your space.
