From a young age, the artist developed a deep love for drawing as a way to escape and express creativity. After undergoing a spinal fusion surgery at Riley Children's Hospital at the age of 10, which left them in a body cast for six months, art became their solace during a challenging time. Despite being unable to participate in contact sports like their peers, their passion for art continued to grow with the support of family, friends, and teachers.
Enrolling at Herron School of Art and later graduating from Vincennes University with a degree in Horticulture and Landscape Design, the artist found ways to merge their love for art and nature. Over the next 25 years, they utilized their creative talents as a business owner and landscape designer, working on award-winning projects. Today, they use their graphic design skills to create logos, branding, and marketing materials for companies in the green industry, while still finding time to sketch and work on digital art.
