David Lawrence Alpha, born in 1951, is a seasoned painter and printmaker hailing from SW Louisiana, where he has been creating art for over 50 years. His artistic journey began under the mentorship of Elemore Morgan at USL, and he further honed his skills through studies at The University of New Orleans. Throughout his career, David has traveled far and wide, showcasing his works in various cities across the USA, Mexico, Europe, Egypt, and Japan. Despite his extensive travels, David has always called Lafayette Louisiana home, where he has dedicated his time to carpentry, family, and the local arts scene.
