Hans Yaeggy is a fine art artist born in Guatemala City, who moved to Minnesota on the first day of the winter storm of 1991, an event that made him fall in love with snow and winter camping. He started his passion for watercolors art in the mid-'80s when a good friend of Hans introduced him to the world of watercolors. Later after he moved to Minnesota, Hans started attending formal art classes at Inver Hills Community College.
A few years later, Hans had the honor and pleasure of taking classes with Alvaro Castagnet, one of the most renowned watercolor artists in the world; an experience that allowed Hans the opportunity to grow to explore more techniques and see the art of watercolor on a different spectrum. Currently, Alvaro has become a good friend and a mentor for Hans Yaeggy's art.
Today, Hans Yaeggy has moved to Houston, TX. To continue his career as an Airline Pilot, a great opportunity for Hans to go around the world capturing colors and making new friends.
