Hans Yaeggy

Hans Yaeggy, a talented fine art artist originally from Guatemala City, found his passion for watercolors in the mid-'80s thanks to a friend's introduction to the medium. His love for snow and winter camping blossomed when he moved to Minnesota during a winter storm in 1991. Embracing the cold and beauty of the snowy landscapes, Hans began attending formal art classes at Inver Hills Community College after settling in his new home.

After a few years of honing his skills, Hans had the incredible opportunity to study with renowned watercolor artist Alvaro Castagnet, whose expertise and mentorship allowed Hans to explore new techniques and expand his artistic horizons. Alvaro became not only a mentor but also a good friend, guiding Hans on his artistic journey. Now based in Houston, TX, Hans has embarked on a career as an Airline Pilot, enabling him to travel the world, capturing vibrant colors and forging new connections along the way.
