Gabriele Niegelhell, originally from Graz, Austria, discovered her passion for painting, drawing, photography, and pottery at a young age. Despite early recognition of her artistic talent, she pursued a different career in languages due to the belief that she could not support herself as an artist. It wasn't until she moved to New Mexico, USA, that she had the opportunity to focus on her art.
After her children were in school, Niegelhell began painting in earnest, receiving guidance from various accomplished painters and continuously teaching herself. She had a collaborative art exhibit at the Matrix Fine Art Gallery in Albuquerque and her work was accepted into prestigious exhibitions such as the Juried Plein Air Painters of NM 15th National Exhibition and Show. Recently, her Still Life paintings were showcased at the New Mexico Art League Gallery.
