From figure drawings and paintings, colorful abstract compositions, landscape and fantasy, contemporary artist Carlos Garcia is a modern abstract and figure artist looking to share his vision of colorful and dramatic art to art enthusiasts and admirers of color.

Living in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area since 1991, he received various fine art instruction including Montgomery College in Rockville, the Yellow Barn Studio and the University of Maryland in College Park. Fine art runs in his family, as his father himself is a professional fine artist.

Specializing in acrylic, oil and pastel painting, Carlos Garcia has exhibited throughout the Washington D.C. metropolitan area including the Glenview Mansion in Rockville, Md, Capitol Arts Network in Rockville, Md, Pepco Edison Place Gallery and Figure Models Guild at MOCA Art Gallery in Washington D.C.

Additionally, his artistic abilities include painting with acrylics, oils, and pastels, and drawing with charcoal, Conte crayon and pencils. He also has experience with mural painting.

His abstract artwork is primarily concerned with various combinations of colors and shapes, intermingled with each other.

Carlos Garcia exhibition experience include both solo and group shows throughout the Washington D.C. metro area, and participated with various art organizations including the Rockville Art League, The Latino Art League of Greater Washington D.C. and Friends of the Yellow Barn Studio.
