Christine Angotti

Christine Angotti Photography
Williamstown, NY

Residing in a quiet town in Central New York, near the shores of Lake Ontario, Chris finds endless inspiration in the rural landscape that surrounds her. Surrounded by barns and Amish homesteads, she sees these structures not just as symbols of simplicity, but as representations of hard work, dedication, and a deep commitment to a way of life. Her husband often accompanies her on short excursions, helping her discover new elements to incorporate into her long-term work. She is particularly drawn to barns that have fallen into disrepair, as well as the immaculate homes and farms of the Amish community.

From a young age, Chris has had a passion for drawing and photography, encouraged by the unwavering support of her grandmother and mother. She completed every art course available in high school before pursuing further education in the arts, earning an associate's degree in Fine Art and a bachelor's degree in Art Education. Her love for photography stems from the immediacy it offers, allowing her to capture and enhance images on her computer with digital editing, a process that brings her great satisfaction.

Chris's photos reflect her deep appreciation for the beauty of both aged, weathered structures and carefully maintained homes and farms. Each image tells a story of hard work, perseverance, and the passage of time, inviting viewers to reflect on the rich history and character of the rural landscape. For those looking to bring a touch of rustic charm or serene beauty into their home or office decor, Chris's prints are the perfect choice. With each purchase, you'll not only be adding a stunning piece of photography to your space but also supporting a talented artist who finds inspiration in the simple yet profound aspects of everyday life.
