Chris Vedis is a fine artist and military veteran whose stunning handcrafted and painted works of art are created utilizing abstract, airbrush and traditional methods. From a young age, Chris was creative and artistic, and this passion only increased when he graduated from high school and moved to Pennsylvania to attend college at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, where he earned an Associates Degree in Visual Communications.
Chris was then hired at a design firm in Pittsburgh, where he developed and produced rub-on transfers for production mock-ups used by the senior designers. He gradually moved up the ranks, first to production assistant, then to assisting in the design process, and then to website design.
In 1998, Chris moved to Nevada with a dream of growing his business in website design and illustration, but this dream was short-lived and he joined the Nevada Army National Guard in 2001. He served his country for 12 years, completing two overseas deployments in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom.
15 years later, Chris rediscovered his passion for art when he was flooded with inspiration. After airbrushing for a while, he transitioned into creating abstract pieces of art.
